Back in october, 2019, a series of protests started to have place in Chile, all of them regarding social inequality and unfair conditions out of a strict liberal economic model. The social unrest has remained for months and a lot of chilean artists are continuously working on graphic pieces all over the world concerning these issues. Living in Barcelona while the protests were starting in Chile, and as a way of being part of them myself I also started a series of drawings regarding what was happening there, drawings that later became posters and part of a collective project called Quiltro, @quiltro_bcn, from where we, a group of chilean people living in Barcelona and using mostly screenprinting on paper and fabric, stand up to make the chilean situation visible to the rest of the world, as also addressing feminist and latinamerican causes as a core part part of the fight.
